Growing Babies

I am not really sure what to write in a blog. The entire experience of being pregnant with triplets is hard for me to grasp. We have been having ultrasounds almost every week. It is still wild when we see three babies on the screen.

All is well. We are still trying to adjust to the thought of adding 3 lovely babies to our family of 4. The boys are excited. Kian is talking about what he is going to teach the babies: coloring, playing with cars and painting. Kai is excited but says he will not be changing any diapers.

Sidney has adjusted really well. He is always calm, but seems at peace with our adventure. Ok, I just read to him what I wrote and he laughed and said he has been having nightly nightmares. I guess he isn't as calm as I thought.

I figure it will all work out. We are really excited about the thought of having 5 beautiful children.

We also found out the sexes. We are having one boy, one girl and most likely another girl. They are not 100% sure. We will know by the 11th when we have a long ultrasound.

Yes, Spontaneous Triplets

Hello,

We are a family of four. There is me, Mom and Dad and our two boys. We went in last week for our 12 week ultrasound where we were shocked to find out we were having triplets. This was quite a surprise. We were not taking any medications or supplements. My body released 3 eggs and all were fertilized and implanted.

The babies are fraternal so they each have their own sack and placenta. It was a frightening and amazing day. We are so excited about our journey on becoming a family of 7.
